Through these films, we explore the richness of our culture and heritage.
Some films are contemporary; others are classics.
Some are academy award-winners, shorts and documentaries.
Our goal is to create a forum where we can discuss what we view on screen by having a post-film dialogue with a guest speaker, actor or director and moderated by our artistic director, Bart Weiss.
Everyone is welcome — you don’t need to be Jewish to enjoy this film series!

That is until he meets Abbey, a young teenager whose own brush with pain and death inspires him to open up as well, leading the two of them to exchange their stories as a meaningful and healing friendship is born. Finn Taylor’s powerful film features a heart-piercing screenplay and unforgettable performances.
